HBI Racing Team

   Hutton-Blews Insurance is the proud sponsor of the HBI Cycling Team. Jay Blews, the team’s founder, lived for several years in Utah and developed a love for mountain biking. When he moved back to PA he found that the mountain-biking movement had spread all over the country and banned together friends and associates to form a team that would compete, share their love of mountain biking with others, and spread the name of his business to thousands of potential customers. The team consists of 10 local cyclists, including Jay and another HBI agent, Ben Scherf. The team’s goal is to promote the growing sport of mountain biking and physical fitness. It is a great way to get healthy and exercise while enjoying the beautiful Pennsylvania outdoors. The team competes in local races such as the new Mountain Bike race series in Brookville, PA, Rural Valley, PA and New Bethlehem, PA but also travels to Ohio, Virginia, and West Virginia to compete in marathons and 24-hour races.
